Quick summary
A content implementation note about converting supplied documents into polished WordPress articles with optimized imagery, metadata, internal links, and live verification.
The problem
Several supplied articles needed to be published in an established WordPress design without losing their source images, SEO fields, categorization, or requested internal-link structure.
What I checked
- Source documents and embedded primary images
- Existing post layout and taxonomy conventions
- Titles, excerpts, metadata, and internal-link requests
- Featured-image sizing, format, and alt text
- Public blog index and final article URLs
What I changed
- Duplicated the established post structure for consistent layout
- Extracted source images and converted them to optimized WebP files
- Added article content, titles, excerpts, metadata, categories, and internal links
- Wrote descriptive image alt text
- Verified every article on the live index and at its public URL with cache-bypassing checks
Result
The articles were published in the site's native format with lighter featured images, complete metadata, and verified live placement.
Where this fix usually leads next
This kind of work usually connects back to Technical SEO, WordPress Support and Site Speed so the fix note can lead into a clearer support path instead of staying as an isolated one-off task.
What I'd watch next
- Whether future source documents use images large enough for featured placements
- Whether internal targets change after publication
- Whether the blog template introduces new required fields
