Centralized Business Data and FAQ Schema During Pull Request Review

A technical SEO note about reviewing two related pull requests and consolidating business and FAQ facts so visible content and structured data share one source of truth.

Quick summary

A technical SEO note about reviewing two related pull requests and consolidating business and FAQ facts so visible content and structured data share one source of truth.

The problem

Business details and FAQ answers were repeated across components and schema, making it easy for the footer, contact page, visible FAQs, and structured data to drift apart.

What I checked

  • Business address, hours, coordinates, map data, profile link, and price range
  • Footer, contact-page, and LocalBusiness schema output
  • Visible homepage FAQ answers and FAQ schema
  • Interaction between two independently submitted pull requests
  • Static checks and all generated pages

What I changed

  • Consolidated business facts into a shared site-data object
  • Updated the footer, contact page, and LocalBusiness schema to consume the shared data
  • Made the visible FAQ section and FAQ schema use the same answer set
  • Removed implementation-history comments that no longer helped maintainers
  • Tested the changes together, built every page, and merged the pull requests in order

Result

Visible business information and structured data now stay aligned through shared sources instead of duplicate hand-maintained values.

Where this fix usually leads next

This kind of work usually connects back to Technical SEO, Website Fixes and Production Debugging so the fix note can lead into a clearer support path instead of staying as an isolated one-off task.

What I'd watch next

  • Whether new components bypass the shared data object
  • Whether FAQ edits update both visible content and schema
  • Whether future pull requests reintroduce duplicated facts
