Quick summary
A practical internal-linking note about making service pages, supporting pages, and proof content connect more clearly.
The problem
The site had useful pages, but the relationships between core services, supporting topics, and practical proof notes were too easy to miss.
What I checked
- Main service page links
- Supporting content clusters
- Navigation and body-level internal links
- HTML sitemap and XML sitemap support
- Pages that had useful context but weak inbound links
What I changed
- Added contextual links from service pages to related support content
- Linked proof-style notes back to the service pages they support
- Grouped related pages by practical task instead of broad marketing labels
- Checked that important pages were not only reachable through navigation
Result
Visitors and crawlers had clearer paths between the commercial service pages and the supporting content around them.
What I'd watch next
- Whether new support pages get linked from their closest service page
- Whether body links stay specific instead of becoming generic
- Whether older pages need another pass as the content library grows
